Basic Life Support Provider
CPR completion course for healthcare workers, healthcare students or the professional rescuer in small group setting to offer personalized individual attention with skills practice.
AHA Basic Life Support Completion Card provided the day of class for  pre-paid reservations upon successful completion of skills and multiple choice test.

Blended Basic Life Support: Heartcode BLS

For students renewing their Basic Life Support training and hold a current Basic Life Support card that is not expired and have healthcare experience.

The new course format allows students to complete Part one of the course online using dramatizations, eSimulations, animations, self-directed learning and interactive activities to teach students Basic Life Support knowledge and skills. Part one is 1.75 hours in length and fee is $28.50 to AHA. Click on this link to access AHA's online training site: On-line training for American Heart Association Part 2 and 3 is an accelerated structured hands on Instructor led session that focuses on skills practice, team scenarios and skills testing scheduled by appointment Mon-Sat. taking 75-90 minutes. Fee: $65. You can purchase the entire program for $93.50  from Safety Basics during normal business hours and will email a key code for part one online. Upon completion of all course requirements each student receives a 2 year AHA completion card in Basic Life Support. Please email or call our office at 314-504-7926 to schedule Part 2 and 3 the practice and skills session.

Basic Life Support Provider

This completion level course teaches one and two rescuer adult, child, and infant CPR skills team practice with mock code, first aid for choking,  how to use a bag mask device and Automatic External Defibrillator training for the healthcare worker, healthcare student (nursing, EMT, OT, PT) or professional rescuer in any setting.


As of March 2016 due to the updated course content, there will be only be one classroom class for either first time students or those renewing their certifications through March 2018. There is also a blended course option: Heartcode BLS listed below.


 

Fee: $79/person includes AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider 2016 course book, and $65/person without book (must obtain book on your own) and two year AHA Basic Life Support Provider completion card.

 It is recommended that each student have the AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider textbook CPR ECC , copyright 2016  readily available for use before, during, and after the course.  Textbooks are designed for individual use and are an integral part of the student's education.
